Data we collect
Details you submit through our forms: name, work email, company, funding stage, budget range and the message you write. Newsletter signups store your email address only.
Basic technical data your browser sends, such as IP address, user agent and referring page, used for security and aggregate traffic measurement.
Cookie and analytics data, only in the categories you opt into through our consent banner.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, schedule and prepare a strategy call, and send the newsletter you asked for.
To keep the site secure and detect abuse or spam submissions.
To understand which pages and campaigns perform, where you have granted analytics or marketing consent.
Cookie categories
Strictly necessary: routing, security and storing your consent choice. These cannot be switched off.
Analytics: aggregate page and campaign performance. Off until you opt in.
Marketing: advertising attribution and retargeting. Off until you opt in.
Change your choices at any time by clearing site data in your browser, which re-opens the consent banner on your next visit.
Your GDPR and CCPA rights
You may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. Under the CCPA you may also ask what categories of personal information we collect and request deletion. We do not sell personal information.
To make a data subject access request, email hello@redbeard.team with the subject line "DSAR". We respond within 30 days and may ask for information to verify your identity.
Sharing and retention
We share data only with the service providers needed to operate: email and workspace hosting, our CRM and, where consented, analytics. We do not sell or rent personal data.
Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months, newsletter data until you unsubscribe, and client engagement data for the engagement plus a 90-day wind-down window unless you ask for earlier deletion.
